The reimagined version of a 70s cult favorite sci-fi series ‘Battlestar Galactica’ took the world of science fiction by storm. The space opera is about the war between humans and a race of their own creation, known as the Cylons. The new series first aired in 2003 ended its run on in 2009 and features round two of the war, with Cylons no longer looking robotic, but hyper-realistic androids.

“Exodus” (parts one and two) are the third and fourth episodes of the third season from the science fiction television series. In the episode “Exodus, Part 2,”, Battlestar Galactica is outnumbered four to one, with Adama using some tricky FTL maneuvering with to distract Cylon Basestars long enough for the rest of the fleet to take off from New Caprica.

However, Galactica ends up taking heavy fire. Just when it seems hopeless, Battlestar Pegasus bursts onto the scene like an avenging, wrathful angel, and turns the tide of the fight long enough for Adama to get his battered ship out of the line of fire.

We like:

  • The action in Battlestar Galactica has enough flavor to make clear what's at stake with the personal dramas.
